Bálint Szabó is a security researcher at Bitdefender. He studied computer science at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and did a master’s degree on cybersecurity at the same university.
He has also been involved in teaching laboratory classes at the university on the topic of operating systems.
After obtaining the master’s degree, Bálintparticipated in a summer internship at University of Maryland, where he studied exploitability prediction of software vulnerabilities.
During the almost 7 years at Bitdefender, he has worked on improving the behavioral detection rate and participated in security exercises like Cyber Coalition or Locked Shields in the forensics team.
